Dr Lee David is director of Resilient Minds. She is a GP and Cognitive-behavioural therapy specialist in Hertfordshire with a particular interest and expertise in promoting resilience, well-being, positive mental health and stress management within the workplace.
Qualifications
- MB BS (Medical degree) – Imperial College School of Medicine, University of London
- BSc (Social Psychology as applied to health (1st Class hons)
- Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (distinction)
- Masters in Cognitive-Behavioural therapy (distinction)
- Postgraduate certificate in medical education
As well as being author of a numerous publications on the subject of emotional resilience, CBT and mental health, Dr David is a highly experienced trainer and educator, who regularly gives talks and runs practical workshops in a wide variety of settings, ranging from small groups to international conferences.
She is also interested in a number of modern developments in the application of CBT, including positive acceptance and commitment strategies, mindful awareness training and behavioural activation as a tool for promoting change.
